MINOTTI PAVILION 2024

MINOTTI PAVILION 2024 @Salone del Mobile.Milano

An architecture spanning 4,500 sqm designed to welcome the 2024 Collection, in continuity and equilibrium with the brand’s legacy and identity. Featuring distinctive signs of the Minotti style, accompanied by contemporary stylistic interpretations, it captures the charm of past successes to train the spotlight on an immersive display. A renewed way to present the brand to the world with determination and a dare-all attitude charged with the energy of evolution, the wisdom of past experiences, and the awareness that each new dawn is a blank canvas, ready to receive something original and fresh.

The Minotti Pavilion 2024 is punctuated by a succession of rich, home settings, enhanced by double height volumes and a clever interplay of complementary materials. The mark of architect Rodolfo Dordoni, carved into the company’s DNA, is far from disregarded: indeed, it becomes the cue for building a renewed brand’s image, regenerating a creativity that gives the new designs the utmost freedom of expression.

The project by Minotti Studio aims to host a large, varied collection, explicitly characterised by influences of the 1970s, which also shapes the architectural spaces: palisander Santos, lacquered, marble or carpeted walls, mirrored ceilings, and surfaces with a textured, striped finish are just some of the elements that distinguish the Pavilion. The boundaries are marked by the typical Minotti perforated concrete brick, here giving life to a double wall with a light-filled cavity that increases its transparency. The floors boast the iconic Minotti concrete covering, giant planks of Italian herringbone Licorice Oak parquet, or carpeting.

This year, the fireplace, the brand’s distinctive element, comes in ten different versions: from the one with a through-view to those set along the walls, from the brutalist and deconstructed style to the type that encompasses the wall, and the one that acts as a scenographic backdrop for works of art. Another strong element of spatial verticality is the volume of the reception area: two Musk lacquered parallelepipeds rise to the ceiling and are cut by a Plum lacquered block used as the front desk.

A layout energised by emotional highs not only with a concentration of materials and colours, but also with an intensity of the furnishing pieces on display. As if the space were the storyteller of the 2024 Collection. The design of the greenery is part of this collection of compositions, with square areas that trim the linear paths in the centre of the booth: thick-set, architectural plants alongside with custom-designed planters.

The sophisticated and eclectic feel of the Pavilion is also crowned by the artistic setting and exquisite styling, which adds narrative details to the interiors. The whole design gives each space room to express its own personality, while allowing the strong identity of the collection to stand out and remaining true to Minotti timeless style. A way of experiencing the history of the past in a new age.
