Bézier: the curve as a starting point

Through its Minotti Signatures series, the Italian house revisits the pieces that best define its identity, looking at what makes each one distinctive and why it still feels current. One of the latest chapters focuses on Bézier, the modular seating system designed in 2025 by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27.

The name refers to Pierre Bézier and the parametric curves developed by the French engineer. From that mathematics of fluidity, combined with the softness of natural forms, comes a sofa with no hard edges, where modularity stops being a sum of blocks and becomes one continuous line.

Compositions in dialogue with space. The elements come together in endlessly varied configurations that follow the architecture rather than impose on it. At the centre of a generous living room, Bézier becomes an island: a place people naturally gather around.

The rigour behind the comfort. Beneath its comfort lies demanding tailoring work. The stitching traces every curve of the upholstery with a precision that turns complex geometries into an impeccable finish.

Bézier Cord Outdoor. The collection moves outside with Bézier Cord Outdoor, where the same formal language takes shape in a woven rope structure. The material changes, the character stays: a sofa conceived less as furniture than as a place to meet.
