GamFratesi
Stine Gam, Danish architect with a master in furniture design. Enrico Fratesi Italian architect graduated with a master in industrial design. Gam and Fratesi gained experience as architects in several architecture studio in Japan and Scandinavia before establishing their own design studio. The studio is based in Copenhagen.
GamFratesi’s design takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal and in an experimental approach to their chosen materials and techniques. With their dual traditional background, Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi draw on the classic Danish furniture and craft tradition as well as the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach. Understanding a tradition and addressing it actively in the workshop makes it possible to expand on it. From this cross-cultural substrate they create furniture that respectfully reflects tradition while also featuring unique embedded stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist idiom.

GAMFRATESI FOR MINOTTI
The Minotti 2019 Collection welcomes the signature of GamFratesi design duo: their debut is marked by the Angie and Shelley armchairs.
In 2020, GamFratesi designs the Fynn family, which includes a wide range of indoor and outdoor seats and coffee tables together with the Fynn Outdoor table.
The collaboration continued in 2021 with Patio, an outdoor seating system characterized by a highly versatile modularity, which unexpectly mix different materials, including aluminium, wood, stone and cord. In addition, they sign Lido, an indoor range consisting of dining and lounge armchairs, a footstool and a coffee table, as well as Lido Cord Outdoor, including a sofa, armchair, footstool, dining and lounge little armchairs.
All these shapes inspires, for the 2022 Collection, Patio Teak, a new version of the system in wood that enriches and multiplies the transversal nature of the original one. That year, also Lido comes in a two-seater sofa version and the Lido Cord Outdoor family welcomes two new elements: a linear two-seater sofa and a bench.
For the 2023 Collection, GamFratesi designs the Raphael family of seats, while for 2024 the Vivienne family and the Kendall armchair: enveloping shapes that express great comfort, all conceived to fit effortlessly into any living space. Also making its debut is the Daylight modular seating system, with swivel armchairs and loveseats for open-air spaces.
